I became part of Hanover Mortgage in 2019. I had always wanted to return to work outside the home when my youngest children (twins!) started full time school. My background is in the non-profit sector, so you may wonder how I ended up here. When my husband and I moved back to Greenville in 2013 after a brief stint in Atlanta, we had trouble qualifying for a mortgage. We had the income, assets, and credit scores, but because my husband was primarily in a commission job, we looked risky on paper. I can remember—even 10 plus years later—how stressful that process was for me and my husband. We just wanted to have someone believe in us, find a house we loved, and be settled. Yes, there were tears, and no, I’m not prone to drama! It took a personal encounter with a caring loan officer who listened to and cared for us. That made all the difference. Now, I get to be a part of that process for other homebuyers, making their mortgage experience the best it can be.
I love this company and leadership, what we stand for, and how we treat people. Those qualities will weather any storm or crisis. I am part of our Support Staff and the PPC (Party Planning Committee). I became licensed with NMLS in December of 2023 and my job expanded to Support and Community Specialist. I love connecting people interested in mortgages with our experienced loan originators. Plus, I get to post a small glimpse of Hanover Happenings on our Instagram page, so please follow us at @hanovermortgageco!
The other part of my life is that I was raised in the sweet state of Georgia. I’m married to Brian, and I’m the mom of 4 very active, but very cute kids, plus my other baby, labradoodle Robert “Downey” Junior.
